Pro-Am
What is the FCA Golf International Pro-Am? In short, it accomplishes two things. The first is giving golf fans the opportunity to play with tour pros from the PGA, LPGA, Nationwide, and Champions Tours. And second, it helps to raise funds for the FCA Golf Ministry. It is a one-day golf tournament held this year at the exclusive Isleworth Golf and Country Club on Monday, November 3, 2008. Isleworth was recently ranked one of the most difficult courses in Florida. Come test your skills against the pros!
Format: One pro teams up with four amateurs in a best-ball format. PGA Tour Pros Lee Janzen, Bernhard Langer, Robert Gamez, and LPGA Tour Pros Betsy King and Jackie Gallager-Smith have been just some of the many Pros who have joined us for what has turned out to be an incredibly fun day of golf every year. We hope to see you there!

Funk’s team wins first place at 2007 FCA International Pro-Am
Windermere, FL—The FCA International Pro-Am, held November 5th, 2007, at Isleworth Country Club, hosted a nearly sold-out event. Seventeen golf professionals from the PGA and Nationwide Tours joined amateurs to raise funds for the FCA Golf Ministry.
Among the pros who participated were 2007 Masters Champion, Zach Johnson, Tom Pernice, Jr., Tim Petrovic, Matt Kuchar, and Ryan Moore. Eight-time PGA TOUR champ, Fred Funk, led the field with the Miccosukee team, who collectively shot –25.
Two-time U.S. Open Champion, Lee Janzen, and wife Beverly opened their home to the pros and players for an intimate pre-tournament dinner. Comedian Dennis Swanberg entertained the group, and golf pro Craig Kanada shared a testimony about how an FCA Golf camp personally impacted his son’s life last summer.
With nearly perfect weather, the tournament was professionally run by Isleworth staff. Each player received a fantastic giveaway package, including a TourEdge fairway wood and a ProQuip rain suit.
In addition, spouses of the pros and players were invited to take part in a cooking class held at Isleworth during the course of play. Guests were treated to expert instruction from Executive Chef, Russell Scott.
