In 2006, the FCA Golf Ministry created TOURLIFE as its chaplaincy program for competitive golf tours and it has grown rapidly since its inception. Now present on 10 tours, TOURLIFE is having a great influence in men’s, women’s, senior, junior, and amateur golf. At the FCA Golf Ministry, we knew that it would be difficult to provide the necessary amount of skilled ministry professionals to these areas of service through traditional staffing methods. So we established the TOURLIFE Association as an innovative answer to this need. Its purpose is as follows:

The TOURLIFE Association exists to provide competitive golf tours with qualified Christian ministers, who serve in full and part-time chaplaincy roles, through TOURLIFE Association membership, training, resources, and benefits.

Membership in the TOURLIFE Association is extended through an approval process and requires a two-year commitment. Members pay yearly dues along with an administrative fee. The membership benefits are as follows:

  • Access to the national network of FCA ministry professionals.
  • Assignment to a sphere of service on a full-time or commuter competitive golf tour.
  • Training through the bi-annual TOURLIFE training and monthly conference calls.
  • Access to purchase all FCA ministry materials, products, and gear for ministry use.
  • Ability to raise funds that support the TOURLIFE Association. 
  • Exclusive use of the TOURLIFE logo on communication materials and clothing.
  • PING Golf clothing discounts for ministry uniform.

TOURLIFE Members:

  • Pursue high standards in quality, content, and presentation of the TOURLIFE program
  • Can document 2 years of practical ministry experience
  • Will agree to a 2 year commitment if approved for service


Each Member will complete the following process before joining the Association:

  • Complete the FCA Ministry Leader Application (MLA)
  • Complete TOURLIFE Training Program
  • Complete FCA Tryout Training Program
  • Interview with the Director of TOURLIFE and an FCA Regional/Area Director
